Psychedelic Artist’s Work Blasting Off Again to Orbit Earth in Global Space Art Mission

 I think there is something beautiful about art inspired by Altered States of Consciousness spreading vast distances & ending up in hard to reach places

Rescheduled Twice But Now Set for Lift-off

The launch, scheduled for Today, June 23rd, will carry Joey’s digital piece, Our Story, aboard the Nyx capsule along with the rest of the MoonMars Museum, as part of the Space Renaissance 4 All Gallery mission.

What’s The Mission?

The capsule will be launched into Orbit ,carrying a symbolic collection of art, science, and culture curated from around the world. The initiative, part of the global Space4All: On Earth and Beyond campaign, is designed to promote a human-centered, inclusive future for space exploration, one that celebrates imagination alongside innovation.


Our Story

Art on the Moon. This piece, Our Story, became one of the first pieces of art to be exhibited on the surface of the moon March 2nd 2025

What is Aboard?

The gallery features contributions from over 30 countries, including poetry, visual art, 3D-printed sculptures, space science, and planetary materials. It is coordinated by Space Renaissance International, in partnership with educational, scientific, and space organizations around the globe.

This mission follows Joey’s earlier milestone: a digital artwork delivered to the Moon’s Mare Crisium Crater on March 2, 2025, aboard Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost lander, as part of the Moon Gallery Test Payload organized by the MoonMars Museum.
